Barbara L. Klenovich, CFP®

As your financial advocate, Barbara L. Klenovich takes the time to understand what you want out of life and how you feel about the goals you’ve set for yourself. By talking with you about your most important priorities, she can anticipate any changes that need to occur in your financial strategy.

Barbara’s years of experience are coupled with a comprehensive approach and sophisticated technology. She incorporates all your personal and financial information in one place, and presents it in a way that is easy to understand and available any time, day or night.

Education:

Barbara graduated from Regis College with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Management. She holds several licenses and registrations required to advise clients on various personal financial matters. Among her credentials are FINRA registrations 7 and 63, as well as licenses covering life, disability and longterm care insurance.

Experience:

Besides the years of experience in the financial planning field, Barbara and her husband have owned and sold a business that had 30 employees. This experience helps Barb relate to business owners and all the myriad of problems and solutions that radiate from owning a business with employees.

For 15 years or more she has been preparing her clients’ tax returns. She feels that this helps her stay in touch with the changes in the tax law and how they impact her clients. In addition to business ownership, Barbara and her husband were involved in the nonprofit organization of Campus Crusade for Christ for 16 years. This experience helps Barbara relate to missionaries who raise their own support and the unique perspective of nonprofit organizations.

For nine years, Barbara originated mortgage loans. This experience helps her know the different types of mortgage products and what would be a best fit for each client’s situation.

Community:

Barbara is involved in the community through her church, Woodmen Valley Chapel, and Artemis, a women’s community organization. She is also an active supporter of the nonprofit, Care and Share. Because of her love for golf, she is serving on the board of the Colorado Springs Country Club.

Personal:

Barbara is married and has two children, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren live in Colorado Springs and Denver, so her roots are firmly planted here. Barbara loves to play golf and spend time with her family.
